Six Sections Empowering Industrial Recovery, BJIFF Inviting You to Beijing Film Market in Spring
In order to boost the Chinese film market in the stage of full recovery, the Beijing Film Market at the 11th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) has issued sincere invitations to guests from all industries: in the spring of 2021, we invite you to join us in the Beijing Film Market to start a new journey of the next decade.

As the BJIFF enters its second decade, the Beijing Film Market will upgrade itself to “six sections”. The “Market Screening” section will be added, where "Tiantan Award" shortlisted films, Project Pitches projects, WIP projects and excellent domestic/international new films can be screened for further cooperative negotiation. It is able to enhance the Market’s role as the "copyright transaction platform”, and increase the Market’s strength and competitiveness.

The newly added section will provide screening venues and services for film copyright owners and buyers in the market, offer adequate publicity and promotion for market screenings with various resources of the Beijing Film Market, and deliver complete intellectual property protection measures.

The new form of online and offline integrated display of the Exhibition of the market has given full play to the resource advantages of the platform and promote exchanges and cooperation in the film industry. As the anti-pandemic work is gaining great momentum, offline exhibition will be resumed on the third floor of the Beijing International Hotel Conference Center. Meanwhile, the Exhibition will also retain the form of online exhibition, providing online display platform for exhibitors and guests in the market. Exhibitors who have registered an offline booth can participate in online display for free.
The Project Pitches section has started the solicitation for Project Pitches projects and WIP projects, with more measures for supporting young filmmakers to be launched. The Project Pitches will give full play to industry resources to protect young creators and lead better young film forces to the Chinese film market.
Industry Conversations, as one of the most forward-looking communication platforms of the BJIFF, covers the industry development trends in the year and pays attention to the hottest topics, thus creating a brand image of "industry wind vane". With the expansion and continuous optimization of the market, the Industry Conversations of the 11th BJIFF will continue to explore industry topics with both market value and popularity, organize and plan multi-perspective industry conversations, and provide first-hand industry information for participants.
