Beijing Film Panorama

　　The Beijing Film Panorama program is designed to build the screening platform for domestic and overseas films, and the event includes “International Film Screening”, “Chinese Film Screening” and “Partner City Film Screening” three main sections. 480 new produced and classic films from China and overseas will be screened at organization committee proved theaters and colleges. Theme screenings will be arranged upon genres, countries, directors and production companies and meanwhile, various competitions at venues will be held for audience during showcases.

　　As a key part of the festival, Beijing Film Panorama have already solicited 480 films from over 50 countries represented by America, UK, France, Korea, India, Poland, Argentina and Mexico. Some film producing organizations such as Disney and Paramount Pictures have signed up for exhibition. Foreign language films such as Afterschool (U.S.), Shahada (Germany), Draquila - Italy Trembles (Italy), Dog Pound (France, Canada, UK), Enter the Void (France, Germany, Italy), Silent Souls (Russia), You the Living (Sweden) and Mother (Korea) will be shown to the public during film Panorama. 12 cinematic works shown on the 61st Berlin International Film Festival represented by American film Zenith (Surla Films produce), Austrian Film Pianomania (Oval Film produce) and Der Atem des Himmels have been invited. At the same time, according to the BIFF Organizing Committee, the award-winning films Black Swan and The Social Network of the 83rd Oscar Awards and also the opening film of the 61st Berlin International Film Festival –True Grit, directed by the Hollywood famous directors the Coen Brothers, Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, will be submitted to Beijing Film Panorama Section of BJIFF.
