A Sharing of Private Diaries of Olivier Assayas
Assayas looks back on a time in his life when the city was first sealed off during the pandemic in France. In this self-referential French vignette, the director's own subjective narrative constitutes a voice-over. Memories of the old house, family history, and growing up in childhood and youth are interspersed and alternated with personal life under the pandemic, family and friends, and French countryside scenes. Is the infinite retrospection in the midst of looking back a long-term answer to nothingness, or is it the arrival of hope?

Starting from scratch, they wrote scripts, drew split-screen shots, made miniature models, invited the girl they liked to play the female lead, shot images with 8mm cameras with animation effects supported by editing and post-dubbing techniques. The excitement of teenagers was mixed with their zeal for films shone brightly in the last summer of their youth.
