Four Marvel Cinematic Universe’s hits: Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, Avengers: Infinity War,  and Avengers: Endgame, as well as five Disney's classic live-action "Princess series” films Maleficent, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Mulan will be showcased at the Carnival-Blockbusters section of the Beijing Film Panorama of the 13th BJIFF, and the film schedule will be released at the same time.

Both the "Marvel heroes" and "Disney princesses” series films will be screened at the BJIFF, forming an unprecedented lineup, which can be regarded as a "real blockbuster", and cannot be missed. In particular, what fans are especially looking forward to is that, a special back-to-back marathon screening for the Guardians of the Galaxy series will be held to allow fans to watch the first two films of the Guardians of the Galaxy series, and exclusive highlights from Marvel Studios' new movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, will be shown for the first time at the event.

Among the many Marvel heroes, the "cosmic cluster" guardians of the galaxy is extremely popular. Before starting the final journey with the guardians of the galaxy, the Beijing Film Panorama will feature four related Marvel blockbuster films: Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, inviting moviegoers to step into theaters and relive the nearly decade-long journey with the “cosmic cluster”. Fans will be able to relive the time on the big screen as they guard the galaxy with an infinite raw gemstone in their hands and take on Thanos together with the avengers and watch Star-Lord’s nice dance and listen to some super cool songs, which will keep the anticipation for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 high.

It is worth mentioning that during this panorama period, there will be a special back-to-back marathon screening for the Guardians of the Galaxy series on April 22, which is the only opportunity. In this Beijing Film Panorama, five live-action Disney princess films, Maleficent, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Mulan, will all be screened. The latest live-action adaptation of Disney's animation classic, The Little Mermaid, has been announced for release in theaters nationwide on May 26. Inspired by the well-known Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales, The Little Mermaid follows the moving adventures of Ariel, a mermaid princess. Oscar-winning directors and a number of Academy Award winners including those behind the scenes, are supporting the film. Legendary musician Alan Menken, an eight-time Academy Awards winner, teams up with Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda to perform classic melodies and new hit songs.

According to a schedule released today, nine films from Marvel Studios and Disney will hit cinemas in Beijing from April 20 to 29, and tickets will go on sale at 12:00  on April 18 on Maoyan, the official ticketing platform of the BJIFF.
