Lucrecia Martel

  Lucrecia Martel is an Argentine director, screenwriter, and producer.
  She has been directing short films since 1989. In 2001, her first feature film The Swamp was shortlisted for the 51st Berlin International Film Festival and won the Alfred Bauer Award. She subsequently directed films such as The Holy Girl and Zama, and her works were shortlisted for the main competition section of the Cannes Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festivals many times. In 2006, she served as a jury member of the main competition section of the 59th Cannes Film Festival. In 2008, she served as a jury member of the main competition section of the 65th Venice International Film Festival. In 2019, she served as the jury president of the main competition section of the 76th Venice International Film Festival.
