Synopsis:“Africa in China” is a documentary series that presents the stories of people from different regions of China who are inextricably bonded with the African continent. It tells the stories of individual characters in the context of the great era of China-Africa exchange through video and documentary. It aims to increase the audience’s interest in cultural exchange between China and Africa, allow people of both sides who have not yet had the opportunity to meet face to face to increase their understanding of the other’s culture, allow the Chinese and African peoples to achieve deeper and more candid exchange on the premise that they understand each other better, and thus promote more extensive cooperation on this basis. The documentary uses a diversified perspective to find Africa in China from different aspects such as art, commerce, education, and entrepreneurship, reflecting the profound integration of Chinese and African cultures.
In the process of continuous development of China-Africa exchanges, diverse cultures will inevitably encounter and collide more frequently. At times, misunderstandings may even arise when cultures meet. How to respect each other and enhance consensus in an environment with diverse cultures?
 We believe that through video and documentary, the stories of individuals in the context of the great era of China-Africa exchange can be told, so that the Chinese and African people can achieve deeper and more candid exchange on the premise that they understand each other better, and thus cooperate more extensively on this basis. It would also allow many people from both sides who have not yet had the opportunity to meet face to face to increase their understanding of the other’s culture. This is a very useful attempt and innovation which reflects the meaning of cultural communication itself.
