Synopsis: In a remote northern village, the bandits and villagers create a subtle “balance”: an agreement on ten catties of rice per month. Lao Dan, a stubborn "outlander", breaks the balance. After the chaos, all the villagers believe it’s the best choice not to make any changes. All the people are eager to resume the “balance” they once have. Lao Dan, who intends to break the “balance” and set up a new order, becomes the target. It seems to be a story between the bandits and the Lao Dan; however, it fully reveals the chaotic order after the exposure of humanity once the “evil balance” is broken. Since new balance cannot be achieved, people start to miss the original “balance”, so they have no choice but to kill the one who breaks the balance.
