Synopsis：After the "August 13" Incident in 1937, Shanghai fell, and a large number of orphans roamed the streets. Zhu Mei, a patriotic industrialist in Fenghua, witnessed this scene and became anxious. In order to accommodate and nurture these children in need, Zhu Meixian and his wife Xu Jinhua established the Fenghua International Rehabilitation Center for Disaster Children in Taiqing Temple, Aokou Village, Shihu Town, Fenghua in 1938. They rescued more than 6 orphans from Shanghai and other places and provided free board and lodging. Elementary and junior high school education is established. Shu Di is one of them. He is an orphan of a martyr. His biological parents were sacrificed in the Anti-Japanese War. Due to the traitor's betrayal, Shu Lanzhi, the adoptive mother of the underground party, sent the 11-year-old Shu Di to her grandmother's house in Fenghua. Grandma was killed by Japanese plane bombing, so the underground party arranged Shu Di to study at the International Rehabilitation Center for Disaster Children. There, Shu Di received the loving care of Xu Jing's mother. In order to run the correctional institution well, they paid all their energy and most of their property. In the spring of 1942, Zhu Meixian passed away due to overwork, and Xu Jinhua maintained the labor camp for more than a year until the last batch of disaster children graduated.
