Synopsis:
The whole family make concerted efforts to travel tens of thousands of miles to catch up with that rocket!
Since the day when a baby was born, everything in the family has become more complicated and connected to her.
Everyone has their own ideas and I have been constantly clashing with my parents and parents-in-law due to different parenting concepts. I once felt very exhausted, wondering whether my whole had to argue with each other like this forever. Is it really the best way to show love to the baby?
My family didn’t escape the wave of Covid infections across China last year, either. However, my parents, parents-in-law, and I stopped arguing tacitly and threw ourselves into the "battle of baby defense" like a daring team. We got infected one after another, but won the golden window period for us to take care of the baby.
My understanding of “the family" became clearer after the pandemic. We have to move forward together in difficult times while constantly bickering and arguing, that’s exactly what a family looks like.
Chasing a rocket needs the joint effort of a whole family, so does launching a rocket.
"Solve problems with joint efforts" is the theme of this story and it is also what I hope to convey.
