Andrew Lau,Jury President

Andrew Lau is a Hong Kong Chinese film director, cinematographer, and producer, and one of the representative filmmakers of the golden era of Hong Kong cinema. His works span multiple genres and are noted for their accomplished command of commercial filmmaking and innovative visual style. His representative works include the Infernal Affairs series, the Young and Dangerous series, The Storm Riders and The Captain. He won the Best Director award at the 22nd Hong Kong Film Awards, Best Cinematography at the 26th Hong Kong Film Awards, and Best Director at the 11th Macau International Movie Festival. In 2024, he served as producer of Formed Police Unit, and in 2025 his film The Dumpling Queen was released, achieving both box office success and critical acclaim, and continuing to inject vitality into Chinese cinema.

Liu Yi,Jury

Liu Yi is a screenwriter from mainland China and Vice President of the China Film Literature Society. He has long focused on the creation of mainstream commercial genre films and major historical subjects, and is regarded as a representative figure in the field of screenwriting for film and television. His notable works include the Wolf Warriors series, Brotherhood, and Ding Baozhen. In 2017, he received nominations for Best Screenplay at both the Hundred Flowers Awards and the Huabiao Film Awards for Wolf Warrior 2, which set a new box-office record in Chinese film history. In 2023, the television series Ding Baozhen, for which he served as head writer, was broadcast on China Central Television and was well received for its solid screenplay and well-crafted characters.

Works such as Yang Shanzhou received honors including the “Five-One Project” Award and the Huabiao Film Awards. Since 2019, he has served as Chief Producer at Beijing Yitong Chuanqi Film & Television, where he has launched several high-grossing films; Lost in the Stars became the top-grossing film of China’s summer box office in 2023. He is deeply engaged in the operation of the entire film and television industry chain, producing works that balance commercial appeal and social value with an international perspective and keen market insight.

Zhou You is a Chinese actor. He has made his mark in the film and television industry with a vivid, natural and expressive acting style, excels at portraying multi-faceted and three-dimensional characters with a broad range, and is a highly anticipated young actor in Chinese cinema. His notable works include Seventeen Blue, The Left Ear, Run For Young, and Striding into the Wind. In 2018 received the Emerging Actor of the Year award at the 13th Chinese Young Generation Film Forum. In 2020, he was awarded the Best Actor Award (Fei Mu Honor) at the 4th Pingyao International Film Festival for Striding into the Wind. In the same year, his portrayal of Liu Wenqin in Run For Young became widely recognized.
