Hao Ming holds a master's degree in directing from the Central Academy of Drama and specializes in realist theater with a focus on female narratives. Her works are rooted in profound social insight and humanistic care, often exploring themes such as family trauma, emotional dilemmas, and intergenerational conflicts from a female perspective. With a distinctive blend of humor and wit, she examines gender biases and self-identity. Her works span theater, musical theater, and film. She was the playwright and director of the play Seasons of Life, which won the Best Production at the the Closing Ceremony of the 2023 National Chinese Theatre Festival and supported by the Beijing Culture and Arts Fund. She introduced and directed the Chinese premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Crimes of the Heart. Additionally, she wrote and directed the musical Fighting Rooster, featured at the Beijing Fringe Festival. Her directing credits also include the play Chocolat·Piment. Her major film works include Success and Beauty and Peppa Celebrates Chinese New Year.
