In 2022, the CHTSC, the Beijing Chaoyang District Committee of Communist Youth League of China, Poly Pictures Investment Co., Ltd., and Poly Digi-Entertainment Co., Ltd. jointly set up the Chaoyang International Cultural Original Youth Talent Reception Hall. In 2023, the Chaoyang International Cultural Original Youth Talent Reception Hall, in collaboration with the Beijing Film Market, a section of the BJIFF, launched the Chaoyang F40 Outstanding Cultural and Creative Youth Talent Program.
The F40, which abbreviates "Focus", "Forty", "Film", and "Future", is a program designed to precisely cater to the practical needs of young cultural and creative individuals aged 40 and below. It aims to create a platform for their mutual growth, offering opportunities for creative guidance, resource connections, and an enhanced appeal, capacity, and cohesion in fostering young cultural and creative talents in the film and TV industries in Chaoyang. Since its launch, the program has received a total of 132 applications, which underwent three rounds of reviews to ultimately select and honor 40 outstanding young cultural and creative professionals. Candidates selected for the F40 program are given the opportunity to partake in the Workshop & Masterclass session at the BJIFF and immerse themselves in culture and creativity themed exchange activities organized by the Chaoyang International Cultural Original Youth Talent Reception Hall. These endeavors foster industry-wide information sharing, strengthen professional competence, and cultivate creative skills. Furthermore, the Reception Hall serves as a platform to facilitate the connection between its members and premium cultural resources. While incubating creative works, it provides guidance on participating in Chinese and international film festivals, as well as supporting services in areas such as film and television legal and tax affairs.
The event was co-hosted by the BJIFF Organizing Committee Office, the CHTSC, the Beijing Chaoyang District Committee of Communist Youth League of China, Poly Pictures Investment Co., Ltd., and Poly Digi-Entertainment Co., Ltd.
In recent years, Chaoyang District has made persistent efforts to improve its talent pool and attract more cultural and creative professionals, aiming to provide support for the establishment of a high-level talent hub. Going forward, the Chaoyang International Cultural Original Youth Talent Reception Hall will remain committed to exploring new opportunities, pathways, and ecosystems. Its focus lies in fostering and supporting cultural and creative talents to establish a rooted presence in Chaoyang District and serve its community. By doing so, it aims to enhance the reputation of Chaoyang's cultural and creative industry.
