Eight Finalists Completed at Samsung Mobile Short Film Unit
According to the latest news, the filming tasks under Samsung Mobile Short Film Unit for the 13th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) have been completed. Eight directors have successfully concluded and delivered the filming and production of short films using Samsung Galaxy S23. The titles, posters and stills of the eight films will be announced in the near future.
The young directors on the set used Samsung Galaxy S23 to capture images as inspiration. Their unrestrained imagination and expressiveness were perfectly combined with the superb imaging effects of Samsung Galaxy S23, thus creating marvelous works from all aspects.
Director Liu Xiaoli deepened his love for science fiction of outer space in his film. In a narrative mode of space log, the footage shows the daily life of the space station in details within the framework of a sci-fi story full of suspense and comedy. The shooting was finished in just one day.

Director Yang Zizheng tells us a warm story about cats, featuring the dependence and warmth between people and pets. During the shooting, Samsung Galaxy S23 recorded every second of intimate interactions between the owner and the cat. The images of protagonist walking through the city at night highlight the excellent performance of the phone in darkness.
