China High-Quality Film Development Forum—The Ideality and the Ideal of the Audience to Take Place on August 17
  Organized by the China Research Institute of Film Science & Technology (Institute of Film Technology Quality Test), the China Film Archive (China Film Art Research Center), China Film Group Corporation and China Film Co., Ltd., the 12th BJIFF—China High-Quality Film Development Forum is scheduled to be held in Beijing on August 17. 
  With the theme "The Ideality and the Ideal of the Audience", the forum will bring together experts, scholars, directors, producers, cinema managers, equipment manufacturers and other industrial elitists, to share their experience and achievements in high-tech production, cinema operation and artistic creation, so as to jointly promote the high-quality development of Chinese films.
  Division of audiences has become a trend. To retain audiences, we should follow the trend of new technology development, establish a sound system for independent innovations of film technologies, and achieve key breakthroughs in the R&D key technologies and equipment, so as to further improve the level of filmmaking and the quality of visual effects, and make cinemas up to leading international standards in terms of audiovisual effects, viewing experience, operation supervision and services. In short, we should not only enhance the artistry and technical nature of filmmaking and screening, but also improve the operation capacity of cinemas.

  From the perspective of technology, Roundtable A will bring together technical experts, directors of photography, visual effect specialists and other professionals to discuss how to provide comfortable audiovisual effects and viewing experience for audiences.
  From the perspective of cinema operation, Roundtable B will bring together cinema managers to share their experience in consumption mode innovation and consumption scale expansion, and discuss how to provide enhanced film services for audiences to increase overall revenues.
  From the perspective of artistic creation, Roundtable C will bring together directors, producers and curators, to discuss how to create an attractive film to keep enhancing the audience's satisfaction with domestic films.
