  Symphony Orchestra: China Cinematic Orchestra

       Established in 1949, China Cinematic Orchestra is one of the earliest national orchestras in China. Over the past 60 years and more, China Cinematic Orchestra has been active in the Chinese music circles and has performed symphony concerts, world-famous operas and ballets with renowned foreign conductors, composers, players and dancers from the United States, Germany, France, Japan, the Philippines, Russia, Italy and so on. It has also recorded music for over 2,000 films, TV series and documentaries.

  

  Conductor: Fan Tao

       Fan Tao, National First-level Conductor and permanent conductor of China Cinematic Orchestra, has made a number of records and film & TV music. He was once invited to the 2nd International Sibelius Conductors’ Competition and won the Special Jury Prize; he was once elected jury member for the finals of the 13th Oberlin International Piano Competition and Festival and The Thomas & Evon Cooper International Violin Competition.

  

  Moderator: Xu Tao

       Xu Tao, renowned Chinese voice actor and National First-level Actor, was awarded National Novel Performing Artist in 2002. His main dubbing works include Gone with the Wind, Casablanca, Hamlet, Cyrano De Bergerac, The Sound of Music, Madame Curie and Cinema Paradiso.

  

  Tenor: Ding Yi 

  Chief Tenor of Australia’s Sydney Opera House. He was honored as “the best opera singer, a brilliant tenor” by the world's opera queen Joan Sutherland and received an “Artist Achievements Award” from the Arts Council of Europe and the government of Italy. In 2016, held a concert called “Wonderful Harmony--Ding Yi’s Concert in Sydney”.

  

  Soprano: Wang Lida 

  Young singer under The Song and Dance Troupe of Political Work Department of People‘s Republic of China Central Military Commission;  National Class-A Actress; National Vocal Music Gold Award winner of the 7th China Music Golden Bell Award in 2009;  Ethnic Group Gold Award winner of the 14th National Young Singers Awards Competition in 2010; participation in the performance of CCTV Spring Festival Gala for 9 consecutive years.

  

  Tenor: Yang Yang 

  Young Tenor; Gold Award winner of the 4th China Music Golden Bell Award; Tenor No.1 in “Italy Don Juan International Opera Competition”; “Special Award” receiver of the 10th Germany “New Voice” International Vocal Music Competition; No.1 in the 3rd Chinese Singing Foreign Songs Competition.

  

  Violinist: Chai Liang

       Renowned violin performer; Selected awards winner in various international competitions like the 3rd Japan International Music Competition and US Hennessy Music Competition; receiver of Highest Achievement Award for Chinese Americans in 1993.

  

  Pianist: Tan Xiaotang 

  Young pianist; No.1 in “Golden Bell Piano Competition” in 2002;  No.1 in the “2nd Sendai International Music Competition” and receiver of French Ambassador Honorary Award and Audience Award; No.1 and Audience Award receiver of ANIMATO International Young Pianist Invitational Contest held in Paris, France;

  

  Soprano: Wu Shuang 

  Renowned coloratura soprano of China with the honor of “China’s First Coloratura”; playwright, painter & writer; “The first Chinese achieving Bel canto”; She is skilled in performing western opera and art songs featuring coloratura, national songs with Chinese style and various shows,  which is closed related to her active thinking and innovative spirit. Her original brand “Solo Concert Comic Coloratura Soprano by Wu Shuang” earns wide recognition at home and abroad.  

  

  Folk song singer: Xu Jingjing 

  Young singer; No.1 in Folk Style Singing of National Love Song Competition in 2008; Gold Award winner of Shanghai Arts Folk Style Singing Competition; Bronze Award winner of Ethnic Group in Golden Bell National Vocal Music Competition in 2015;

  

  Soprano: Ma Fei 

  Young soprano traveling Europe; Best Female Singer at International Opera Competition "City of Alcamo” in 2009; receiver of Most Potential Artist Medal granted by Italy La Scala Theater in 2010; Soprano No.1 in Seoul International Music Competition in 2012; one of the new top 10 sopranos of China Central Television with the top achievement in bel canto in 2014; Female No.1 at the 10th China Music Golden Bell Award in 2015.

  

  Solo performer: Yao Duoduo 

  Winner of Wenhua Award; former solo singer of China PLA Second Artillery Cultural Troupe of the Political Department and current teacher of the Department of Musical Theater in Beijing Dance Academy. She released album Phoenix on the Wing in 2002; won the Gold Award at Pop Music in the Vocal Music Competition of Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China in 2003; won the first place of Excellent Award of Pop Music in CCTV National Young Singers Awards Competition in 2010; ranked No.1 in Beijing and Top 8 of China at Golden Bell Award in 2011;

  

  Young singer: Zhang Xin

  Silver Award winner of New Singers Competition at “99 Asia Song Festival” China and Silver Award winner of New Singers Competition Asia; Gold Award winner of “Wind of Century” China Original Songs Contest; First Prize winner of “1st National Pop Music New Singer Selection” and Popular Singing at the “2nd Chinese Singing Foreign Songs Competition”; Second Prize winner of CCTV Star Avenue Final 2007.

  Soprano: Zhang Zhang 

  No.1 in Solo Ballad and No.2 in Bel Canto of “56th Annual Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod”; No.2 at “Internationales Kärntner Sparkasse Musikstipendium”; Special Award winner of Simandy Jozsef International Singing Competition in Hungary; and receiver  of “Excellent Scholarship” of Central Conservatory of Music.

  

  Young singer: Zeng Jiao 

  Solo performer; First Prize of PLA Art Show for the participation of Sailors Chasing Dreams in 2014; and Third Prize winner of Pop Music at the 10th National Vocal Music Competition (Wenhua Award) in 2012.

  

  Soprano: Tiantian

       Young soprano; Second Prize winner of “2008 Artists International Music Competition”; gainer of “Crossover Singer with Oriental Sound” of Golden Melody Awards for the song Let Me Reborn in 2015; “A rising star of young singer ” hailed by industry experts;

  

  Erhu performer: Li Mei

  Class-A Performer, renowned for the Erhu concerto Butterfly Love performed in the National Center for the Performing Arts as the first one with successful transplantation under the range of Erhu. She earned Top 10 Enchanting Albums Award for Elegant Demeanour in 2010, and recorded the album Color of Chord with Czech Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra in 2014.

  Accordion performer: Ruan Mingyuan

  Outstanding young accordion performer of China; No.1 at the 64th Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships; receiver of Excellent Individual “Performance Award” of the 10th PLA Art Show by People's Liberation Army General Political Department; Solo Gold Award at the National Accordion Performance Contest of Beijing Art Festival; No.1 at Hohner National Popular Accordion Competition; and No.2 at the 34th International "Citta di Castelfidardo" Prize and Award for Accordion Bands and Soloists.
