Forum of Film Sound Production gathers international sounds

　　As film is an audio-visual art, application of sound is an indispensible part in film production. With the upgrading of cinema screening technology, high-quality film sounds have greatly improved film viewing effect. For China's film industry in rapid development, it is meaningful to use international advanced concept and technology of film sound production for reference to improve China's film production quality and welcome the arrival of big production era of Chinese film.

　　On April 17, Guoan New Bridge Film Investment Co., Ltd. which has successfully held 5th BJIFF International VFX Film Forum, joined hands with BJIFF Organizing Committee again, and held Forum of Film Sound Production of 6th BJIFF at CITIC Guoan's Grand Epoch City.

　　Foreign guests present at the forum include: Nathan Wang, well-known Hollywood ethnic Chinese composer and film scorer, Best Music Award winner of Emmy Awards, Tom Marks, well-known Hollywood master for sound mixing, Cristiano Bortone, well-known Italian director, producer, and vice chairman of Bridging the Dragon Producers Association, Keith Colin, well-known Hollywood producer and technical supervisor, and other prestigious experts in the field of global film sound. The forum also invited domestic experts, professors and scholars in the field to take part in discussions. They are Prof. Yao Guoqiang, recording engineer at the national level and chairman of Working Committee of Film Sound Art of China Film Association, Li Xin, vice curator of China Film Archive, Wu Jianyang, deputy dean of The Art Department of Communication University of China and professor of School of Music and Recording Arts, Jiang Yan, associate professor of School of Cinema and Television of Communication University of China, and Long Xiaozhu, well-known Chinese film recording director.

　　Other participants include representatives from domestic well-known film industry companies such as Ming Li Chang Media Corp. and Xinghe Movie & TV Co., Ltd., and reserve force such as master and doctorial students from professional institutions like Beijing Film Academy and Communication University of China. They had extensive communication and discussion with elites in the industry.
