What kinds of films are eligible to attend Beijing Film Panorama? What are the differences between the film selected by Beijing Film Panorama and films screened in ordinary cinemas?

Except for thematic film festival, the films submitted to Beijing Film Panorama shall feature films, documentaries and animation films produced after January 1, 2013 and not less than 70 minutes. Films screened in Beijing Film Panorama are carefully selected by the Organizing Committee, being classical films in film history or award-winning films in recent years. Most of them are never released in Chinese cinemas.
