  (I) Sino-Foreign Film Co-production Forum

  Theme: Around the topic of “In Pursuit of Win-Win Outcome through Cooperation”, guests will share their experience in making films in China and overseas as well as their prospect for Sino-foreign film cooperation. The forum is designed to increase Chinese and international filmmakers to understand each other’s film policy and industry, and promote the communication and cooperation between China and international film industry and peers.

  Theme: This forum focuses on the latest reform in film technology. Many directors, producers, technical experts and responsible persons of technical companies from home and abroad are invited to give speeches on digitalization, 3D technology, cultural innovation and technical innovation, combination of culture and technology.

  Guest: Thilo Kuther

  Thilo Kuther is founder and CEO of Pixomondo, and oversees international operations for the global visual effects company. Thilo’s passion for 3D computer graphics and industrial design, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit led him towards a career in design for clients in manufacturing, architecture and live event production. Gaining as many accolades for the quality of his renderings as for his original designs set him on a path towards the visual effects and 3D animation industry.

  Max H Penner

  Mr. Penner is recognized as one of Hollywood’s premier 3D stereographers and has remained at the helm of 3D camera and rig design worldwide. As a leading pioneer of 3D and 360 filming technology Mr. Penner is responsible for setting the standards for live action 3D capture.

  Shen Hongxiang

  Shen Hongxiang as one of the pioneers in 3D film and TV production in China, is a board member, COO and one of the founders of Soulpower Culture Media Co., Ltd. In 2009, he led the production of the Prelude of Monkey King, the first 3D animation in China. In 2010 and 2011, he participated in the 3D production of Resident Evil: Afterlife and the Immortals respectively. In 2012, he took charge of the 3D production of domestic blockbusters such as Painted Skin 2, Taichi 1&2 and Chinese Zodiac 12.

  Chuck Comisky

  Chuck Comisky is the 3D supervisor for the movie Avatar. Chuck had been in the movie business for over 35 years. He has been working with James Cameron side by side and playing a key role in all the projects. His works include Avatar, Terminator 2 (3D), Ghost of the Abyss, Aliens of the Deep and many more. Chuck work with James Cameron, Roger Corman, Brett Rather, Arthur hiller and many other world class top movie directors and producers.

  Keith Collea

  Keith Collea is a versatile and highly knowledgeable stereographer who has constructed 3D landscapes across a gamut of independent and studio features. In September 2012, Mr. Collea was employed by the State Production Base of China Film Group as a 3D film making creative technical director and offer 3D photography workshops. He has worked on indies such as The Gene Generation and The Mortician 3D as well as big-budget productions like Pearl Harbor, Terminator 4, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3D, Resident Evil 5 and The Monkey King 3D, the largest 3D production in Asia to date.
