The Beijing International Film Festival · The 33rd Beijing College Student Film Festival (BCSFF) is a national film festival event hosted by Beijing Normal University, organized by its School of Arts and Communication, and supported by over 100 universities across the country, with the strong backing of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (China Film Administration) and the Ministry of Education.
This year's forum, "Redefining: Film Criticism in the Context of Change", is one of the key theme forums of the Beijing International Film Festival · The 33rd College Student Film Festival. The forum focuses on the paradigm shift in film criticism driven by the wave of digital intelligence technology and the transformation of media ecosystems. It pays close attention to the contemporary changes in critical production, communication media, and the subjectivity of critics. From the perspectives of academic inquiry, critical practice, and industry observation, the forum explores new pathways and directions for reshaping the value framework of film criticism in the new era while upholding a commitment to the humanities.
