Kids of Wuzhumuqin Town shortlisted to 6th Beijing International Film Festival “Legend of China” section
Kids of Wuzhumuqin Town, directed by Zhou Yupeng, a national level-1 director, co-starring three Mongolian primary students, will be on at the 6th Beijing International Film Festival “Legend of China” section recently. The film, themed by the affection of children for horses, taking a Mongolian child growing up with a pony as the storyline, depicts the pure loving heart and bravery of the protagonist, Mongolian child Delehei and his little friends. It filled the gap of domestic children’s film market. Children are the future of our motherland. Lack of good children’s film should be noticed by the society.
Three little actors present the audience their admirable affection for animals with their simple, natural and original acting style. The images of the film are lucid and aesthetic. The beautiful grassland, white yurts and galloping horses are all most desirable.
