To Shine, Not to Be Shone upon in 2024

　　A new journey in the new year ahead. It’s filled with new hopes and new cheering moments.

　　Film shines bright. It’s projected on the screen through a beam of light, which is reflected on us to inspire and encourage us to stride forward.

　　It also shines through time, and leads us forward. The second hand draws details of emotions; the minute hand sets up the narrative; and the hour hand grasps audio-visual trends. Three in one, films stand timeless.

　　With the BJIFF inscribed on the clock, we are going to meet again when the set second, minute and hour come.
