This year's Beijing Film Panorama marks the third appearance of the “old friend” Director Yonfan, and the debut of “newcomer” Zhu Xin at BJIFF. This year's Beijing Film Panorama brings some of the most poignant moments in long-awaited reunions. It marks the return of Blossoms Shanghai in the Screen/Off section, as well as the post-screening event for Aragane, the debut feature by “Filmmaker in Focus” Kaori Oda. At the event, she reunited with her mentor, Béla Tarr, the Chair of the Forward Future section's International Jury, to share insights on creation and the essence of cinema.
