Douyin Life Services and the 15th BJIFF jointly launch the "Let's Beijing Film & Life Festival".
The "BJIFF Zero-Distance Program" will feature a star-studded interactive zone at the Red Carpet for the Opening Ceremony, offering exclusive, film-themed experiences. Simultaneously, over 500 lifestyle venues across Beijing will be transformed to showcase the luminous elements of the 15th BJIFF. With specially designed installations for social media check-ins, the city will be wrapped in the festive spirit of BJIFF, encouraging users from across Beijing - and indeed the entire country - to embark the "Movie-Inspired Food and Culture Tours Across Beijing."
Meanwhile, the Douyin app has launched the "Beijing Film & Life Festival" main hub, featuring a variety of themed sections including: a film lifestyle voucher package worth billions, exclusive fan merchandise recommendations, limited-time giveaways of popular screening tickets, celebrity-recommended food and leisure spots in Beijing, and more. Together, these offerings create a city-wide celebration of cinematic joy and consumer delight. Douyin Life Services has aggregated group-buying discounts from over 10,000 merchants, catering to users' diverse consumption needs. Additionally, the event includes a dedicated Beijing City portal: by simply entering "北京电影生活节" (Beijing Film & Life Festival) on the city page within the Douyin app, users can access detailed information on participating merchants and packages. In addition, as part of the collaboration, the 15th BJIFF and Douyin Life Services have co-produced a creative short film titled Special Mission, capturing extraordinary moments of everyday life in Beijing with cinematic storytelling. Stay tuned for its release.
Starting April 18, the Beijing Film & Life Festival Movie Bazaar officially opens at Langyuan Station. This event blends film culture with immersive consumer experiences, creating a cinematic theme park that combines exhibitions, bazaars, and interactive zones. The festival pioneers a cross-sector ecosystem integrating film, cultural tourism, and consumption, establishing a new model for national engagement with film culture through three core dimensions: "New Cultural Consumption Scenes," "New Expressions of Cinematic Art," and "New Vessels for Urban Memory."

Douyin Life Services Launches the "Favorites Market"
The "Favorites List" is Douyin Life Services' branded ranking system, recommending top-rated dining venues based on user interests and feedback - ensuring delicious and reliable options with rich experiences. At the Movie Bazaar, Douyin Life Services is debuting the "Favorites Market" for the first time, an initiative aimed at film fans and users across Beijing and the entire country. This event invites over 20 "Favorites List" - selected restaurant brands and more than 10 specialty food vendors from Beijing to set up booths, offering immersive tasting experiences for consumers. The market will feature popular Douyin culinary figures, exclusive, market-only gourmet offerings, and surprise interactive games, encouraging movie enthusiasts to unlock specially designed gifts.
During the event, Douyin Life Services will also release a curated guide titled "Explore Beijing Through BJIFF", recommending 66 film-themed destinations for dining, entertainment, and leisure across the city. The campaign will include online collaborations with a wide range of influencers and merchants to enhance promotional reach. This event will run through May 10, presenting users with a rich variety of consumer choices and igniting a new wave of holiday spending enthusiasm.
