The 15th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) · Diplomat Filmfest will officially kick off on April 25. Continuing the international essence of previous events, the “Diplomat Filmfest” has further evolved into a grand event that integrates diplomacy, film, and culture, exploring new models of cinematic art in global cultural exchange.

[Film as a Medium to Connect Global Visions]
As the first international cultural exchange platform jointly created by professional institutions from the fields of diplomacy, film, culture, and art in China, the 2025 Diplomat Filmfest will showcase brand-new highlights. The “Film Support System of Diplomat Filmfest”, featuring over a thousand classic films, will make its debut. Through the “Special Film Screenings of Diplomat Filmfest”, this system will serve as an important bridge for promoting dialogue and cooperation between different cultures. Additionally, the establishment ceremony of the “International Film Criticism Committee of the China Film Critics Association” will be one of the major highlights of this event. This committee will bring together diplomats, film critics, scholars, and experts from around the world to form an international think tank, overcoming language and cultural barriers to deepen exchanges and understanding between different cultures, broaden the global perspective of film art, and create a more inclusive and diverse film ecosystem.
