The “Online BJIFF” of the 12th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) jointly organized by the BJIFF and iQIYI was officially launched online on August 10. 

　　As the official exclusive online HD video platform and the exclusive partner of the “Online BJIFF” of the 12th BJIFF, iQIYI has carefully selected 84 high-quality domestic and international films with various themes and genres, and is going to present them online from August 10 to 23 in parallel with this edition of the BJIFF held from August 13 to 20.

　　The “Online BJIFF” consists of 9 sections, such as “First Perspective”, “Argentine Film Week”, “Special Exhibition: Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China”, “The Cinema of the Jury President of the Tiantan Award”, “New Wave of the Internet”, “Hong Kong Classics” and “Global View”.

　　In particular, films starring Li Xuejian, Jury President of this year’s Tiantan Award, including Jiao Yulu, Keep Cool, Crossing the Chishui River Four Times, and The Secret of China will be presented in the “The Cinema of the Jury President of the Tiantan Award” section; the “Special Exhibition: Welcoming the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” section includes films with good rating and box office gross, such as The Battle at Lake Changjin, Cliff Walkers, and Nice View; the “Hong Kong Classics” section consists of well-known Hong Kong classics such as the Rouge, Drug War, Police Story and 2046. 

　　The “New Wave of the Internet” section offers well-rated iQIYI-exclusive online films including the Eye for an Eye, Grassland Sarilang, Face’s A Verb and Fly, Skating Star; the highly anticipated “Global View” section will present Happy as Lazzaro, winner of the Best Screenplay at the Competition Section of the 71st Festival de Cannes, Father, winner of the Panorama Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the 70th Berlin International Film Festival, star-studded A Rainy Day in New York by Woody Allen and other masterpieces.
