Event: A Film about Future

Venue: Central Station, Langyuan Station 

The event marks a milestone of the way forward for cinema. Unlike traditional Red Carpet, the Film Tech Red Carpet of the “The Cinematic Futurity” Section features appearance of dozens of tech companies and film and television companies. A 3D visual stage will be set up to demonstrate how new technologies empower the entire filmmaking process, and showcase latest results of the combination of technology and film and television through visual and stage presentation. 

At the unprecedented ceremony, visitors are able to see cutting-edge AI technologies, including but not limited to text-to-graph, text-to-video, AI3D, and large models, and have a thorough understanding of full-spectrum AI technologies. The ceremony is committed to displaying cutting-edge technologies to the film and television industry, and offering guidance regarding application of aforesaid technologies to actual film and television production so as to help film and television professionals with creation in the new era.

Overview: Based on the novel Flowers in the Mirror, the fantasy comedy Hotel in the Mirror is to be produced into film and TV series in 2024. 

20 Drug Combat out of the Engagement Zone

Format: Launch event 

Highlights: First of its kind in China, a complete demonstration of AI-empowered film production process, opening a new chapter of AI-driven film production. 

Overview: The action film Drug Combat out of the Engagement Zone tells the story of Yang Jin, a Chinese marine police captain who hunts drug dealers outside the national border and is regarded as an enemy by drug dealers. The drug lord trains Yang Jin’s only son to be his successor and uses him to lure Yang Jin to Burma in an attempt to coerce him into assisting drug deals. But he and his drug cartel end up being caught by the father and son.
