VERSACE Partners with the 15th BJIFF to Build a Grand Cinematic Event
Versace partners with the 15th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), weaving a dream of cinematic artistry. As the official designated high fashion brand, this collaboration fully showcases Versace's deep roots in the realm of cinematic art. Upholding its core spirit of empowerment and self-inspiration, Versace is committed to supporting the growth and development of a new generation of Chinese and international filmmakers.

The collaboration between Versace and the BJIFF stems from a shared pursuit of visual art, experimental creativity, and talent development. Since its inception, Versace has consistently expressed its unique visual language through all-encompassing creativity, seamlessly blending photography, film, performing arts, and cinematic culture to present an unparalleled artistic allure.
Versace has long been intertwined with the world of cinema. Beyond the camera, countless screen legends have chosen Versace to express their true selves. Whether gracing international film award ceremonies or lighting up red carpets at festivals, Versace's design consistently commands attention, embodying timeless elegance and opulent aesthetics.
The year 2025 marks the 130th anniversary of world cinema, the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema, and also the 15th anniversary of the BJIFF. This year's BJIFF will host hundreds of events in diverse formats, fostering creativity, incubating excellent works, empowering industry upgrading, and propelling the future development of films. By retracing the history of cinema, BJIFF aims to preserve film culture and stimulate high-quality development in the film market.
The Beijing Film Market (April 19–22) of this year's BJIFF is themed around “Showcasing, Promoting, Trading, and Exchanging”, targeting the global film market. It will organize Project Pitches, Industry Conversations, Events & Activities, Market Screenings, and other events, fully integrating premium resources across the domestic and international film industry.
Versace is actively participating in the Beijing Film Market's Project Pitches Training Camp, offering young creators the opportunity to receive hands-on professional training from a mentor panel. This year's Project Pitches Training Camp has expanded its recruitment scope, targeting young creators in four categories - producing, directing, production design, and cinematography - from across the Chinese film industry. In order to discover and showcase more young talents, it will focus on short film creation, collaborating with young creators to craft outstanding short films that reflect contemporary themes and the spirit of the times. The Project Pitches Training Camp will be guided by a team of renowned experts, forming a comprehensive creative guidance system. The BJIFF Organizing Committee will provide continuous creative support funding and production resources, working together to incubate four high-quality short films, which will have their premieres during the festival. Industry leaders with sharp eyes will offer a helping hand to aspiring filmmakers, giving them a boost to realize their dreams.
Through the Project Pitches Training Camp, Versace continues to uphold its commitment to innovation in visual arts, creating new opportunities for nurturing and developing emerging talent.
As the highlight of the 15th BJIFF, the “Beijing Film Night and Versace Filmmakers Gala Dinner” will take place on April 20. The event will vividly demonstrate Versace's passion for nurturing creative talent and delivering a visual feast. The gala will bring together heavyweight guests, including members of the Final Jury for Tiantan Award and the Final Jury for Project Pitches, to celebrate the brilliant moments of filmmakers' gathering.
