Government and Enterprises Joining Hands to Create a Professional Recruitment Platform
The Beijing International Film Festival opened a talent market amid this cinematic feast. This year's job fair featured an innovative talent–industry matching session. In collaboration with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Chaoyang District, a "Fast Track for Film and Television Talent" was set up at the venue, enabling job seekers to secure ideal positions as if selecting a script, while employers identified high-potential candidates through precise matching. This deep integration of employment services with real industry scenarios not only accelerated the development of Beijing's film and television culture sector, but also effectively addressed the employment needs of graduates by providing them with a high-quality job-seeking platform.
The BJIFF Organizing Committee paid particular attention to emerging talent by creating a "Young Talent Incubation Zone" along the recruitment pathway and offering a dedicated channel for fresh graduates. A student majoring in social science, Zhang said excitedly: "I came just for the Outdoor Cinema, but I didn't expect to find so many job opportunities that align with my major. It felt like discovering an Easter egg at the film festival!"
According to the organizers, this job fair adopted a pioneering dual-venue system. The offline main venue offered closed-loop services through the Recruitment Area, the Policy Corner and the Guidance Station. Meanwhile, a cloud-based branch venue was opened online, enabling 24-hour job matching via the "Yi Ye Chaoyang" Douyin livestream channel operated by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Chaoyang District, breaking the limitations of time and space and facilitating the free flow of talent.

The venue grew more crowded by the minute, as job seekers flocked to company booths for consultations. The job fair buzzed with excitement. The recruitment manager at Sparkle Roll Jackie Chan Cinemas said: "With the full recovery of the film and television industry, our demand for core positions such as production management and project development has grown year-on-year. We are eagerly seeking versatile talent with both artistic creativity and market insight."
Notably, emerging technology positions became the highlight of this job fair. Many companies offered new roles such as virtual production engineers and AI content review specialists. An HR from a leading streaming platform revealed: "We are setting up a metaverse content team, and the annual salary for such technical professionals can exceed RMB 400,000."
According to statistics, the job fair attracted over 3,000 attendees. 1,228 resumes were collected on-site, and 837 preliminary employment intentions were reached. Preliminary statistics show that the supply-demand ratio for positions such as film and television post-production and new media operations has reached 1:5, showing a significant shortage of candidates.

Comprehensive Services Supporting Career Development
The Beijing International Film Festival has come up with a new idea at this job fair! In addition to the main recruitment "banquet," the Organizing Committee has teamed up with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Chaoyang District to present a policy "chef's special." A team of senior experts will break down and present Beijing's most "appetizing" preferential policies such as talent introduction, entrepreneurship support, and more, helping job seekers easily benefit from these offerings. Career guidance teachers transformed into "magicians in the workplace," offering on-the-spot "CT scan" analyses of job seekers' resumes and tailoring personalized "upgrade strategies" for their career development - helping them level up quickly on their job search journey.
"This job fair is professional and efficient. I've already secured initial offers from two companies that match my goals." A recent graduate from the Beijing Film Academy, Wang said excitedly. The HR director of a film and television company also commented: "The candidates we interviewed today demonstrated strong professional competence. This industry-specific job fair has greatly improved the efficiency of candidate screening."
