The "Everlasting BJIFF" Public Welfare Project "Bring Films to My Hometown" Launched in Shenzhen
On September 29, the "Bring Films to My Hometown" (Shenzhen) project, jointly planned and implemented by the China Foundation For Human Rights Development, China Film Group Corporation, and the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) Organizing Committee Office, was officially launched.

The public welfare initiative, "Bring Films to My Hometown", was officially launched during the awards ceremony of the "NEWHER" Women-Focused Film Section at the 15th BJIFF. Using films as an emotional bond, the project extensively gathers the power of social compassion. It is committed to bringing a selection of outstanding films back to campuses, illuminating young minds through the art of light and shadow and nurturing hometowns with cultural warmth. Since its inception, the initiative has received widespread attention and strong support from all segments of society, resulting in a positive and far-reaching social impact.
  
Event Site
As the host of the project, the BJIFF Organizing Committee Office, together with partner organizations including the China Foundation for Human Rights Development and the China Film Group Corporation, as well as philanthropic donor Cheng Xiao, jointly donated 10 sets of specialized smart digital film servers for the "China Film Campus Cinema Public Welfare Service Platform" along with 1,000 film screenings to 10 primary and secondary schools in Shenzhen. Representatives from the first 10 recipient schools, including Gaoxin Middle School of Nanshan Foreign Language School (Group), Shenzhen Nanshan Xili Primary School, and the Primary School of Nanshan School Attached to Beijing Normal University, were present to accept the donations, marking the official launch and establishment of the project in Shenzhen.

Looking ahead, the "Everlasting BJIFF" will continue to use cinema as a bridge and public welfare as a medium, persistently expanding the reach and depth of initiatives like "Bring Films to My Hometown".
