Exiting! Star-studded Rock Classics to Be Showed at the BJIFF!
The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus is a live concert film featuring the legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones and participated by the pioneers of the British music pioneers of the 1960s; the film was shot on December 11-12, 1968, and first released in 1996. 
The film was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, who proposed the concept of "rock circus" to the band's soul figure Mick Jagger, and The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus was also presented to the audience in the form of an audio-visual carnival circus feast, creating the classic cultural scene of the 1960s.

With the Rolling Stones leading the show, it was filmed on a makeshift circus stage; Jethro Tull, The Who, Taj Mahal and Marianne Faithfull also gave infectious live performances. John Lennon, the lead singer of The Beatles, and Yoko Ono gave a surprise performance as a super band called The Dirty Mac. Eric Clapton played guitar, Mitch Mitchell played drums, and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones played bass.

Viewing event of the classic "The Rolling Stones” music film The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus is jointly presented by the International Department of Universal Music and Dolby China, and will be officially launched at 3:00PM on April 27! The pioneers of British music in the 1960s came together with The Rolling Stones in The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus, and the film creates a classic cultural scene of the 1960s in the form of a carnival circus. The film will be shown in 4K Dolby Vision · Dolby Atmos Remastered Version at this viewing event and the Live Theatre section of this year's BJIFF. It is the first time that the version has been shown on the screen with Chinese fans, presenting once again this rock carnival of The Rolling Stones in the last century with breathtaking excellent audiovisual effects! In addition, the documentary The Rolling Stones From London To Shanghai will be screened during this viewing event, and fans can explore more behind-the-scenes stories of the Rolling Stones' first famous concert tour “The Bigger Bang” in Shanghai in 2006. ▌Documentary introduction: 
The Rolling Stones From London To Shanghai
On April 8, 2006, the “The Bigger Bang” tour of the British Pantheon rock band The Rolling Stones arrived at Shanghai, and the band presented their first concert in Chinese mainland; the musical charm from classic hot songs of The Rolling Stones made Chinese fans exiting, and Chinese rock pioneer Cui Jian was invited especially on stage to sing "Wild Horses" with Mick Jagger.
In The documentary The Rolling Stones From London To Shanghai, production director Dale recalls the challenges and planning experience of bringing the famous rock band to Chinese mainland for a concert. Cui Jian shares the opportunity of his collaboration and expresses his admiration for The Rolling Stones, whose soul man Mick Jagger's unstoppable stage presence shines through in the documentary. The precious video will lead the audience to enter the historic rock feast 18 years ago, and burst out the immortal musical flame of The Rolling Stones.
