A look at the lives of five men and women in their 30s as they confront the slim gains of the “revolutionary” sixties. In an experimental plot at a communal farm by the Alps, they search for an antidote to existentialism. The title character, Jonah, a six-year-old child, is the carrier of hopes of this group of idealistic outcasts for the future.
