At the end of the Yuan Dynasty (1206-1368), insurgences were rising. Headers of the uprising army corps around the country proclaimed themselves king one after another. They revolted against the rule of the Yuan Dynasty on the one hand, on the other hand they went on a punitive expedition to each other and competed the dominant position. Of them there were three powerful warlords who respectively occupied a large area, named Northern Han King Chen Youliang, Gusu King Zhang Shicheng, and Jinling King Zhu Yuanzhang who is later the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
