2022 marks the first year of the “14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Chinese Films" and the year of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The opening forum will focus on the experience and brilliant achievements of Chinese films in the past decade to explore the way goal of building a film power.

 

On the afternoon of August 14, "Film Power Forum—A New Journey Ahead: Unremitting Pursuit of Dreams on a Journey toward a Brilliant Film Future" will be held at Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center. As the opening forum of the BJIFF, the heads of major film companies, well-known filmmakers, experts and scholars will be invited to gather together. Apart from the summary of the achievements in the "extraordinary decade”, the forum will continue to inspire all filmmakers to stick to their original aspirations and forge ahead with courage.
