The Film Power Forum on Creativity - Exploration, Pursuit and Creation of Realistic Films of the 13th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) to take place on April 27, 2023, hosted by BJIFF Organizing Committee and organized by the Central Academy of Drama, invites famous directors, screenwriters, actors and producers from the film industry at home and abroad to analyze and discuss realistic films from such perspectives as acting, directing, screenwriting, filming techniques and criticism.
▍Focusing on the future of artificial intelligence and exploring diversified realism films
In 2023, China’s film industry is expected to recover. The forum, with focus on the new challenges faced by filmmakers for "recovery", is designed to discuss the impact of the world’s situation, human psychology and civilization process on the creation of realistic films in the past, the present and the future considering the changes in the film and television industry under the influence of artificial intelligence.

For realistic films, history is the root for creation while the trend of development injects the vitality. The forum stresses the similarities and differences between traditional and contemporary aesthetics to explore the ways of expressions that can help China’s film industry to reach the unity of commercial market and humanistic care, and attempt to seek a narrative system that can promote Chinese realistic films to go global in the future while adapting to the society in the new era.
