Young Filmmakers Forum—Return to Realism and Breakthrough of Imagination
The Young Filmmakers Forum themed with Return to Realism and Breakthrough of Imagination at the BJIFF · The 30th Beijing College Student Film Festival will be held in Beijing on April 26. The forum is jointly hosted by the BJIFF Organizing Committee, the BJIFF · The 30th Beijing College Student Film Festival Organizing Committee and Beijing Normal University, and organized by the School of Arts and Communication, Beijing Normal University. 
The forum will invite young directors, screenwriters, actors and other film and television creators to carry out in-depth discussions on current hot issues in the film and television industry. It focuses on the current presentation of realistic styles and imaginative elements in Chinese films to stimulate the potential vitality of Chinese films through discussions and debates.
  ▍Highlight humanistic care and compose the undertone of life
In the past years, the works by young filmmakers have been featured with the exploration and return to realism in different levels. Films created by young filmmakers with different styles highlight their vigorous desire and efforts of seeking breakthroughs, which has greatly broadened the content breadth and artistic possibilities of Chinese films. The forum will invite young filmmakers with representative realistic works in the past years to share their thoughts and experiences during their creations, and explore the connection between realism style and value expression.
  ▍Imagination reflects reality and reality connects to the future
Film creators are committed to jointly breaking the restriction of existing experience and achieving continuous breakthroughs at the forefront of imagination based on the creation and promotion of multiple excellent works such as sci-fi and animation, so as to look for the ways of innovative expression.
