　　Synopsis:This film is adapted from Lao She's original work of the same name. An old teahouse in Beijing serves as the stage for a drama that unfolds over several tumultuous decades of modern Chinese history, from the waning days of the Qing dynasty to the eve of the People's Republic. Wang Lifa, the young shopkeeper of Yutai teahouse, remembers his father's teachings decently greeting all the guests such as Song Er Ye, Change Si Ye, Qin Zhongyi, Liu Ma Zi and so on. Continually, the vicissitudes and desolation of the world are performed in this small teahouse.
