The Events & Activities have always been on top of the agenda for filmmaking professionals that attend the BJIFF Beijing Film Market every year. This year, the Beijing Film Market is to be held from April 25 to 27, comprised of diversified sections, such as the Cultural Derivative Exhibition, Project Pitches, Spring Job Fair, Market Screenings and Industry Conversations.

In particular, the Cultural Derivative Exhibition is organized for the first time, and the Exhibition is to be held at Langyuan Station, a film and television industry park.

As for the Project Pitches, many film festival big names, including the Jury President Peter Chan and Zhang Ji, Yao Chen, Wen Muye and Huang Xuan as the Final Jury, will attend the project presentations, provide comments from professional perspectives and conduct deep communications and exchanges with the project owners at the final-round roadshow.

In addition, Zhang Songwen, an old friend of the BJIFF and a jury member of the Tiantan Award, will give a performance class at the Langyuan Station with several young actors. 

In response to the recovery of and increasing demand for employment in the film and television industry, the Beijing Film Market will cooperate with BOSS ZHIPIN to adopt a parallel mode of online and offline recruitment. The BOSS ZHIPIN APP will set up a dedicated section for the BIJFF Job Fair online, and the Exhibition will set up a recruitment zone on the site. 

As offline organization resumes, the quality and quantity of films in the Market Screenings are fully enhanced. This year, the BJIFF Market Screenings select 23 outstanding films to be screened for the guests/buyers, including popular nominees for the Tiantan Award, excellent projects developed from previous Project Pitches, and films winning numerous honors at major film festivals around the world.
