Carlos Saldanha, a Brazilian director, screenwriter, producer, and animator, is celebrated for the Ice Age series, Rio series, Ferdinand, and the short film Gone Nutty. Saldanha has been nominated for several Annie Awards for Outstanding Directing, as well as the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and Best Animated Short Film.
