Cine Nouveau 20th Anniversary Project

Cine Nouveau, located in Osaka City, was established in 1997 and has become one of the cinemas with the highest screening frequency in Japan’s Kansai region. In December 2016, as it approached its 20th anniversary, the cinema underwent renovations that included refurbishing the floor and ceiling, replacing the screen and lighting fixtures, and upgrading restroom facilities. Director Kaori Oda was invited to create a short film documenting the renovation process.
