Sparkling and Dazzling: Red Carpet at the 13th BJIFF
To embrace the sparking moments, on April 21, the Red Carpet for the 13th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) at the Beijing Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center welcomed over 200 Chinese and foreign filmmakers and guests to fulfil our promise—"Let’s enjoy the Best Films in Beijing this Spring”. This grand event was also broadcasted online via btime.com, People’s Daily client, China Daily (New Media), CHINADAILY.COM.CN, yangshipin.cn, and iQIYI, to lead all the film fans all over the world to join the filmmakers at the shining moments of the charming 13th BJIFF.
Chinese director Zhang Yimou, Jury President of Tiantan Award, Stanley Kwan, famous director from Hong Kong, China, Nadav Lapid, Israeli director, Pimpaka Towira, Thai director, Zhang Songwen, Chinese actor, and Zhou Dongyu, Chinese actress, first appeared on the Red Carpet to raise the curtain for the event. Jury member, Fernando E. Juan Lima, President of Mar del Plata International Film Festival, who sent greetings online.
