Closing Ceremony Red Carpet Unfolds as Tiantan Award Awaits Announcement at the 16th Beijing International Film Festival
On April 25, the Closing Ceremony Red Carpet of the 16th Beijing International Film Festival was held at the Yanqi Lake International Convention & Exhibition Center in Huairou District, Beijing. Set against the scenic backdrop of lake and mountains, filmmakers from around the world gathered once again for the festival's annual celebration of cinema. The winners of the ten Tiantan Awards will be unveiled later this evening at the Closing Ceremony. Selected from a global pool of submissions and refined through multiple rounds of deliberation by the international jury, this year's official selection now stands on the brink of their defining moment.
At the Red Carpet event, cast & crew of the Official Selection of Tiantan Award, alongside cast & crew of notable Chinese productions, made sequential appearances. The lineup reflected both the assured presence of established filmmakers and the rising momentum of emerging talents.

The International Jury of the Tiantan Award at this year's BJIFF is chaired by internationally renowned actress Juliette Binoche. The jury members include Brazilian director Gabriel Mascaro, Chinese director Bi Gan, French-Vietnamese director Tran Anh Hung, British composer Simon Franglen, Chinese actress Zhang Xiaofei, and Chinese actor Zhang Yi. Bringing together diverse cultural perspectives, the jury has jointly assessed the artistic merit and distinctive voices of this year's official selection.
