It is an action/thriller film set in the Arabian Gulf, which takes the audience and its naive protagonists through a dark world of arms dealers, mercenaries, and petty thugs. Maila, a craftsman, lives a simple rural life with his wife and son in the mountains of eastern Nepal. As the village is paved with roads, the first bus comes into their lives, carrying coke and televisions. All of a sudden, their dreams come true and the trouble begins. The villagers replace Maila's fabric with plastic, and his life begins to fall apart. Left behind by the era, they have to face the question of how to continue to survive.

This is a relaxed, childlike and imaginative film. Finn, a 10-year-old boy, is forced to return to the city where his mother lives alone because his father has an urgent task, but is identified by the police as a runaway child. Along the way, Finn meets Jola, a witty young woman, and together they embark on a unique sea adventure.
