Come Back Home is Opening in Theaters on October 3, and Sign up for Complimentary Tickets
The film Come Back Home presented by the Filmko Pictures Co., Ltd. was recently announced to be released in theaters during the National Day holiday. It’s reported that the film starring Donnie Yen, also a producer, confirmed its release during the National Day holiday at the last minute, and would present a touching story of a father sacrificing his life to save his son in extremely cold and desperate situation.
As compared to other films to be opening in theaters during the National Day holiday, the Come Back Home announced its release date quite late, but its newly released promotional contents are quite impressive. The film production company released two pieces of promotional contents. The poster shows Donnie Yen’s scarred face for the first time. Despite the scars, he looks certain. The caption of “sacrificing life to save son” reveals the seemingly commercial disaster film is actually a touching story of “father’s love as profound as mountains”.
The second trailer was released along with the announcement of release date. The 104-second trailer includes scenes of heavy snow, avalanche, and underwater rescue. It presents how anxious and vulnerable the father played by Donnie Yen becomes when his son gets lost, and how resolute he turns when he makes last efforts to save his family at the cost of his life.
The film Come Back Home is produced by Donnie Yen, written and directed by Chi-Leung Law starring Donnie Yen and co-starring Han Xue, Jia Bing, Tang Xu, Hou Tianlai, Xu Guangyu, Yuan Jinhui, Cai Xin, Lin Chenhan and Hu Ming. The cast & crew shot the film for two winters in extremely cold environment of snowy mountains, forests and frozen lakes at the Changbai Mountains in northeastern China. The combination of real natural environment and modern technologies makes audience completely immersed in the film.
The film is opening in theaters nationwide on October 3.
