Come and listen to the “homecoming story” in the earliest Chinese film themed the Journey to the West.
The China Film Archive Art Cinema in Xiaoxitian is a shrine for all moviegoers, leaving so many dreams and beautiful memories of the literary youth. The China Film Archive, as a national organization of film archive management and film art research, will also participate in this year’s Movie Plus Energy Aggregation event at Langyuan Station. It will exhibit a photo taking installation of “Seven Spider Demons” from the classic film Spiders.
The installation is a portrayal of seven emotions, which refer to joy, anger, sorrow, fear, love, hatred and desire.
A hundred years ago, the film Spiders was premiered, when the cinemas were crowded in each screening. The seven emotions in the original novel were visualized as seven beautiful spider demons. After its release for 85 years abroad, the film has finally returned to the motherland. This time, the China Film Archive has created the brand new hand-painted “Seven Spider Demons”, which will bring interesting interactions on site.

Linghe Media will open a base transcending time and space for fans. The vintage shop and the future base will meet here. Character seals of classic IPs like Three-Body II, The Land of Warriors II, The Mystic Nine, and Death Notify will be scattered at the activity site, waiting for your collection.
