Nine Open-Air Screenings and Two Post-screening Discussions with Casts & Crews

This year’s "Beijing Film Panorama" steps beyond traditional theaters to SOLANA, on the banks of the Liangma River. From April 16 to 24, SOLANA will host nine consecutive open-air screenings, accompanied by two post-screening events with the casts & crews. Amid the soft spring evening breeze, audiences are invited to rediscover the relaxation and romance of open-air cinema, letting films blend gently into the city lights and public spaces.

Here, the screen echoes with the starry sky, and the light and shadow gently converse with the river. Whether seasoned film enthusiasts or passersby, everyone can find their own perfect moment with cinema. On April 17, following the screening of The Ex-Files 3: The Return of the Exes, leading crew member Han Geng will be present for the post-screening Q&A session. Mystery guests will also appear at later screenings to interact with the audience, which will bring unexpected echoes beyond the screen.

Gismow Pop-Up Store Arrives, with Special Guests to Appear at SOLANA

A pop-up store of the adorable "movie buddy" Gismow—the official plush doll of this Beijing Film Panorama—will open at SOLANA Central Plaza. This adorable healing character will bring one-of-a-kind surprises and companionship to the audience.

Beyond close-up interactions with Gismow, film fans will have the chance to meet two special guests: On April 19, Guo Junchen, Film Experience Ambassador of the Beijing Film & Life Festival, will make a surprise appearance at SOLANA; On April 21, Luo Yizhou, Film Screenings Ambassador of the Beijing Film & Life Festival will also join in close interactions and exchanges with film fans.
