Here is the 2nd Official Selection Media Catalogue for the "Everlasting BJIFF" following the 13th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF): All Ears, directed by Liu Jiayin, is about to screen on September 9, 2023.

In June 2023, All Ears won the Golden Goblet Awards for "Best Director" (Liu Jiayin) and "Best Actor" (Hu Ge) in the Competition Section of the 25th Shanghai International Film Festival.

In 2019, Hu Ge and Peter Chan were both present at the Red Carpet for the Opening Ceremony at the 9th BJIFF. In 2023, a portrayal of Hu Ge also became the poster for the Poesie of Illusions, Master's Image Display, new Movement Section at the 13th BJIFF.

In the perspective of Wen Shan (by Hu Ge), All Ears slowly illustrates the journey of some people's lives. "Coming back and forth between misfortune and happiness and traveling between emptiness and fulfillment" - he writes these words, which may be the best footnote of life. Speaking about the role, Hu Ge said, "When an actor truly falls in love with a character, he is able to mobilize himself completely, and this is one of the most impressive experiences I've ever had."

Wen Shan is a disillusioned screenwriter who has to write eulogies to make a living. The fill must be a mixture of director Liu Jiayin's life experiences and insights, and the is also highly literary. There is also a surprising character in the film, Xiao Yin, played by Leo Wu. No spoilers here. After you watch it, you would know why he is mentioned, as this will be the most surprising part of the film.

Leo Wu, as one of the leading young actors, is a good partner to the BJIFF. He was invited at the 13th BJIFF as the Youth Publicity and Promotion Ambassador, and he also starred in the themed short film The Big Order in Spring.
