Call for Entries: AIGC Game IP Short Video Competition, Game-Based Animated Films Section of the 16th BJIFF
As artificial intelligence (AI) transforms the global content industry at an unprecedented pace, creative expression is undergoing a profound evolution. Capitalizing on breakthroughs in large language model technologies, the Game-Based Animated Films Section is proud to introduce its inaugural "AIGC Game IP Short Video Competition" this year. As a new highlight of the section, this competition upholds the principles of industry guidance, industrial synergy, and public participation. It aims to create a showcase platform that bridges cutting-edge technology with artistic expression, encouraging more outstanding creative talents to push the boundaries of visual storytelling through AIGC tools. The initiative seeks to unlock the boundless potential of AI's deep integration with film, games, and animation; foster the widespread adoption and technology application of AIGC in content creation; and propel the industry's advancement amid this technological surge.
In partnership with JD.com and Baidu, the competition features two dynamic tracks: the "JD AI Film & TV Creation Competition · AI Motion Comic Track for Metaverse of Twelve Princesses" and the "Baidu · AIGC Future Creation League S3". These tracks provide participants with diverse opportunities for expression and technical support. We invite creators from all sectors of society to join us on this visionary journey toward the future of creativity!

II. Entry Requirements
1. Eligibility: This competition is open to creators from all sectors of society, including professional AI creators, AIGC enthusiasts, university faculty and students, and the general public without professional backgrounds.
*Minors must participate under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
2. Entry Format: Participants may enter as individuals or form teams (of no more than 5 people).
3. Number of Submissions: Each participant or team may submit multiple works.
III. Competition Requirements
[JD AI Film & TV Creation Competition · AI Motion Comic Track for Metaverse of Twelve Princesses]
Participants are required to create works based on the [Twelve Princesses] IP characters. Creators are encouraged to produce short-form dramas in narrative form, with no restrictions on theme, style, or content. Submissions may be made in batches or combined in the form of collections of multiple short videos. The ability to create continuously and the number of submissions will serve as important dimensions for judging. Each episode must feature one or more [Twelve Princesses] IP characters, and the production must align with the characters' personalities, creating works of over 15 seconds that fit the theme.

Champion: 100,000 yuan (1 winner)
1st Runner-up: 40,000 yuan (1 winner)
2nd Runner-up: 20,000 yuan (1 winner)
2. Individual Awards:

[Twelve Princesses] Special Award: [Twelve Princesses] limited-edition merchandise (100 winners)
Submission Requirements:
(1) Duration: Each episode must be over 15 seconds. Creation of multiple episodes and multiple characters is encouraged, and it is recommended to submit two or more episodes.
(2) Narrative: Works must be over 15 seconds and fit the theme. AIGC animated short films with a complete storyline are required. It is recommended to submit multiple episodes together, but they may also be submitted separately depending on the creative circumstances.
(3) Specified [Twelve Princesses] IP Characters: ASUS - Tian Xuan Ji, ROG - RO Ji, AOC - AGON Ji, RedMagic - Mora, Lenovo - Legion Ji, MSI - Loong Ji, Colorful - Senna, SANC - KOKO, Galax - Starmaniac Ji, HKC - Aurora Ji, GIGABYTE - AORUS Girl, MAXSUN - Ai Jia.
(4) Creation Method: Participants may use AIGC tools from any platform to create animated short films in accordance with the competition requirements. The utilization rate of AI technology must reach over 50%.
(5) Format Requirements: Videos must be in MP4 or MOV format, not exceeding 2GB; resolution should be no less than 1080P; the recommended aspect ratio is 16:9 or 9:16.
(6) Content Standards: Works must not contain any content that violates laws and regulations, undermines public order and good morals, or infringes upon the rights of others.
(7) Copyright Requirements:
All works submitted by participants must be original. Except for the copyrighted content provided by the competition, all other materials used in the submissions must have legal copyright and must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights or any other rights of third parties.

[Baidu · AIGC Future Creation League S3]
This competition focuses on game IPs to create an AIGC short film event, featuring a new Digital Character track. As the "first digital human track at the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF)", it takes the form of realistic human-like and animated characters interacting with game IPs to present narrative AIGC short films. The competition provides the following IPs: Game For Peace, Naraka: Bladepoint, Shrouding the Heavens, Overmortal, and Mecha BREAK. Participants may use the provided IPs, their own copyrighted IPs, or original IPs to create works with no restrictions on theme, style, or content. Creators are encouraged to produce AIGC short films with complete storylines through narrative storytelling.
