Along the “ten miles of breeze” in spring when filmmakers gathered together, the Run For FUN was successfully held as scheduled at 10:00AM on April 22. With good cooperation and joyful competition of hundreds of filmmakers in 20 groups, the 13th BJIFF Run For Fun was concluded with a great success. In the end, the “Filmmakers Watching Films Team”, “Chasing Film No. 1 Team” and “KAI Pictures Team” won the top 3 of the Run For Fun. They proved their passion for films and their persistence in dreams with their actions. “Her Power Team” won the best tacit award, “Legendary Team" won the best costume award and "Huacheng Advertisement Team” won the best vitality award. In addition, every runner of Run For Fun was offered with a commemorative medal of his or her own this year.

The Run For Fun this year attracted much attention from the industry and Guan Xiaotong acted as the pace maker. The Run For Fun is co-initiated by veteran film producers, media professionals, actors and Olympic champions, including the actors Tan Zhuo, Hai Yitian and Jill Hsu, the producers Tony LV, Zhu Huilong and Xu Yiding, the media professionals San Mu and Wang Yong and Olympic champion Wang Liping.

The form of Run For Fun was greatly upgraded this year. In addition to "Run For Fun + Camping", there were also new events such as "Family Run For Fun" and "Run For Fun + Outdoor Screening". Besides, in collaboration with the Joyrun, the “Run For Fun Online Support Campaign” was launched for the first time this year, which attracted 125,000 film fans to participate online. The routes were evolved from the logo of “Run For Fun”, including 2 kilometers, 4 kilometers and 6 kilometers long respectively. The total length, i.e. 12 kilometers, is the same as of the Run For Fun. The combination of online and offline mileage displayed the passion of filmmakers and fans for films and sports.
