Director Huang Shasha
She returns to her hometown, the Nanxi River basin, to product the short film Not Just A Dinner. The same landscape with different stories and the subjective emotions constantly changing and flowing in objective time witness the birth of a new story. She adopts a poetic and fantastic way to present a "roaming" return to the source this time. Through the encounters between several women of different ages in the film, she presents the discussion on women-related topics and the emotional connection. And she also hopes that this short film will help the audience slow down, immerse themselves inside, reveal their own memories and find the gentle and firm strength.
