Sun Yue, a fifth-grade student, is ordered by his teacher Liu Aiying to dress as a girl and perform in a choir competition in order to balance the number of boys and girls. After enduring the strange looks of his classmates and the pressure from his teacher, Sun Yue makes a bold decision on the day of the competition.
